I tried but Volumio cannot playback music on this DAC.
How can I use it without aplay command ?
Can you define “cannot playback on this device”? Did you select it as playback device? You need to enable I2C DAC and then select it from the list. In case it is not listed, try a Generic I2C Dac first to see if that works.
