If this is the IP of your volumio device, just write it 192.168.1.3

Volumio2 and brutefir...

I succeeded. But the filters don't look good. maybe I made too many corrections. I then try. Unfortunately, as soon as I turn off the volume in the wrong way, the plugin dies. I found the config folder corrupted. just replace it and it works. but I always have to disassemble the monitor in the car to remove the micro sd and restore it. I have to try turning it off with the button and leave the raspberry connected to the power supply

What do you mean by the plugin dies? Do you mean it can't work anymore? Can you still open the webui!?

yes. but the plugin turned on no longer sound. I try to restart. but it doesn't work anymore. When this happens I explore the micro sd and the config folder is damaged. but I have to figure out if he does it after changing the output format or after turning volume off incorrectly

24 bit support for ALSA Loopback

Postby carlito's » Sun Apr 07 2019 11:39

For those who may be concerned, a new patch that allows 24 bit support for ALSA Loopback device has been very recently published and approved. Check here: https://lkml.org/lkml/2019/3/25/709

As Brutefir plugin relies on the Loopback device, you might be interested. However, at the moment you have to recompile the kernel to make it work. I just did and it's all right:
Code: Select all
volumio@volumiopc:~$ cat /proc/asound/card7/pcm0p/sub0/hw_params
access: RW_INTERLEAVED
format: S24_3LE
subformat: STD
channels: 2
rate: 88200 (88200/1)
period_size: 11025
buffer_size: 44100

Have fun!

as they say in Italy: we are not going to wake up the sleeping dog the filters I had the format wrong. I now saved the text and they work. To be the first one it sounds good. Effective correction. Now I try to make them better.

if I wanted to buy a real boss-type dac i2s or katana, does the hardware volume with plug-in work?

Not sure if you saw this balbuze, but someone over at audioscience review found limiting BruteFIR to a single CPU fixed the pausing.
