Volumio X86 big problems

Hi everyone! Sorry for my English

I replaced the raspberry pi3b (dead) with a new PC standard to dedicate to Volumio but there are big problems with VolumioX86.

Pc is Asrock J3455-ITX Mini ITX - SSD - 8Gb Ram 1866

I had great difficulty with the installation and I had to flash the HDD because from Pendrive the installation stopped, but in the end I succeeded and the system starts up.

However:
1 - Works only with DHCP - If I set static IP Volumio does not connect to the internet and does not see the Plugins - But it works ssh and network view

2 - Very very slow boot - with this type of PC and SSD disk it should be very fast

3 - The display of the screen connected to the PC is not fast (this is not a big problem - I will use Volumio without monitor)

I enclose some results, hoping that some genius can help me.

Will we need to change the kernel? Possibly how do I do it? I haven’t found update grub

Help me, please, I’m without music :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

don’t waste your time. The motherboard is an Apollo Lake and therefore works well with kernel higher than 4.xx. I returned it and will take an old used Atom again, at least I’m sure it will work. Thanks anyway

We have been working on kernel 4.19.x already, which was tested successfully already.
Our problem is not the kernel version (even 5.2.x should work).
We wanted to upgrade to Debian Buster at the same time.
But because of a Debian change in a critical component, this appeared to take longer than expected.
Planning has not been fixed yet, so no ETA.

Ho,
I downloaded your version with kernel 4 and the PC worked fine.
Unfortunately the Spotify plugins didn’t work and so I had to abandon the version. I’m waiting for the new version, in the meantime I continue with the old Atom.L which is fine, even if it’s a bit slow because it doesn’t have USB 3.0.
Thank you for your reply and for your work.
You are fantastic.

check the forum once in a while, I hope to post a newer version soon.
