You should not have ‘unmute_amp’ on your overlay statement; the DAC+ is not an amp. This statement toggles one of the GPIO pins (22, IIRC) which may cause an issue.
Thanks for the fast reply.
Yesterday i’ve tryed with some more configurations as shown in the manual from IQaudIO.
Also without unmute_amp, but all the same.
Once extracted, burn to an SD card as you would with any other RPi OS. Then insert into your RPi, boot, and you should hear some music in about 30 seconds after power on. I would suggest using a pair of headphones in the DAC+ headphone jack, rather than going through any downstream amp and speakers.
If you do hear sounds, then your issue is with Volumio. If you don’t hear anything, then I’d suggest contacting Gordon at IQAudio, who is extremely helpful and quick to respond to any issues.
i´ve tested again with the test image on two Raspberrys. (Rpi2 rev B and Rpi3 rev B+).
No sound…
The seller of max2play was unfortunately not very cooperative. So i´ll return this defective board back to the max2play shop.
You are right, Gordon from IQaudio is very helpful. I´ll order the next DAC directly from IQaudio.
If this board is running well, i´ll let you know.
