Thank you for the V2.03 update.
I am testing this version with several I2S DAC.
Raspberry Pi 3 Volumio 2 V2.030 and V2.031
Startup Sound Off Option still does not work.
Some I2S DACs casuse very loudly noise over the start up sound.
It’s possible to hurt the amp and speakers.
This option still doesn´t work with Volumio 2.185
My AUDIOPHONICS I-SABRE ES9018K2M http://www.audiophonics.fr/en/diy-dac/audiophonics-i-sabre-dac-es9018k2m-raspberry-pi-3-pi-2-a-b-i2s-p-11500.html causes very loud noise over the start up sound too.
It´s because this dac only supports 24bit audio.
The new resample option does not work until volumio is fully powered up.
Please Volumio, make the startup sound 24bit to solve the problem.
