What is the relation between volumio and TIDAL ?
Is volumio approved client by TIDAL ?
I aksed this because on musicpd.org/doc/html/plugins.html#tidal there is a statement : Warning This plugin is currently defunct because Tidal has changed the protocol and decided not to share documentation.
Is it possible that once volumio cannot folow TIDAL’s protocol changes ?
Hi,
to develop TIDAL integration, we have been approved as client, and implemented all the authorization, browsing and song retrieval in our own (closed source implementation). So, we never used this mpd implementation in the first place).
So, yes, if TIDAL will change something, we will be able to stay up to date.
