Combining Raspberry Pi, NanoSound DACs and Amp10, the music system has all the benefits of component HiFi system but we have managed to design and fit in all in the foot print of a credit size computer - Raspberry pi. Like component Hi-Fi System, NanoSound music system is both software and hardware upgradable.
Clean power supply is the key to great sound. The NanoSound system has all the benefits of component Hi-Fi in a small footprint by having the DAC and Amp10 are independently regulated with two ultra low drop out linear regulators
In designing the new Amp10, we have made no compromise in using high quality components, that includes:
- Works with both NanoSound DAC (1st Gen) and NanoSound DAC 2 (2nd Gen)
- Fits into NanoSound 3D Printed Case
- Onboard Ultra Low Drop Out Linear Regulator - This provides the cleanest power going into the amplifier.
- Powerful 10W x 2 amplifier which is capable of driving large bookshelf speakers (we used 3-5inch woofer in our demo system with great results)
- 2oz cooper PCB for better thermal performance and signal paths
- Audiophile quality components from world acclaimed Yamaha, Nichicon and WIMA
