Hi
I was trying to add a 5 inch touchscreen on my raspberry pi 3b with volumio(VERSION: 2.502).
Following this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-zNhs-seN4
But I ran into problem when using
and other commands need to connect to http://archive.volumio.org.
It will prints out something like these, there’s a lot more but all same problem.
Does anyone got any ideas to solve this ERROR?
Or having other better instruction to help me install the screen?
I have the exact same problem , apt-get update dont work , i cant connect to archive.volumio.org i always have a Connection failed message, same thing when i try to install touch screen plugin .
I hope somebody is working on it
This is an issue with our apt mirror server.
I noticed it yesterday. Unfortunately it can’t be fixed before next week, please hold on.
We use our apt mirror because we’ve noticed that raspbian ones are quite erratic as well, and this was meant to ensure 100% uptime of the apt repos that volumio use (and relieve Raspbian ones as well).
This has worked fine for months until now.
I’m getting a similar error when i’m trying to install PydPiper. Would this also be caused by the problems with the apt mirror server?
