Directory Path Failure: incompatible name or char escaping?

I think there might be an issue with path resolution and/or properly handling character escaping:

When I attempt to play Brian Eno’s Ambient 1 Music for Airports from my USB drive, the following logs show up:

Aug 31 17:38 : exception: No such directory Aug 31 17:38 : exception: No such directory Aug 31 17:38 : exception: No such directory Aug 31 17:39 : exception: No such directory Aug 31 17:39 : exception: No such directory Aug 31 17:39 : exception: No such directory

Here is the path info for those files:

volumio@volumio:/mnt/USB/MUSIC/FLAC_rip/all_else$ find ./Brian\ Eno/
./Brian Eno/
./Brian Eno/Ambient 1 Music For Airports
./Brian Eno/Ambient 1 Music For Airports/.@__thumb
./Brian Eno/Ambient 1 Music For Airports/01-1\\1.flac.flac
./Brian Eno/Ambient 1 Music For Airports/02-2\\1.flac.flac
./Brian Eno/Ambient 1 Music For Airports/03-1\\2.flac.flac
./Brian Eno/Ambient 1 Music For Airports/04-2\\2.flac.flac
./Brian Eno/Ambient 1 Music For Airports/Ambient 1 Music For Airports.log
volumio@volumio:/mnt/USB/MUSIC/FLAC_rip/all_else$

When I update the path accordingly, it will play just fine:

volumio@volumio:/mnt/USB/MUSIC/FLAC_rip/all_else/Brian Eno/Ambient 1 Music For Airports$ ls
01-1_1.flac 02-2_1.flac 03-1_2.flac 04-2_2.flac Ambient 1 Music For Airports.log
volumio@volumio:/mnt/USB/MUSIC/FLAC_rip/all_else/Brian Eno/Ambient 1 Music For Airports$

I’m content to have the fixed file names for this particular issue. However…as the filenames are automatically generated for me when I rip CDs, it would be nice to not have to manually intervene.
