Wondered which DACs work with this and Volumio?

As the architecture was similar to the RaspberryPi I wondered if the HiFiberry would work?

Sorry mate, it won’t… Hifiberry is designed for pi… It may work with the BeagleBoneBlack, or with the Hummingboard… But nothing confirmed…

is any news regarding new image version for simple Cubox.
Many problems with groundless deadlocks with current image 1.0 beta on Cubox.

You can change the cubox kernel, as described here:

Unfortunately, enabling spdif out and cifs on old cubox turns the system quite unstable…
